A trip to a temple alongside lake
Sitaram , I am going out in town , feeling neutral , see what happens at lake temple, what type of people i will get to see , what atmosphere , its 5:06pm ,i have to come back till 5:45 .so leaving……
At the way to temple, i see the park is closed but staff continues their work.some are chopping leaves ,sweeping and many more. the park and auto-torium are surrounded by kadam 🌲’s. The muhalla near that is rural type, people will be starring at you,when you pass.
I reached the mandir at 5:30 , i am sitting in front of the lake.so ,when i was coming people were seeing me strangely , like they have not seen human. When entered the mandir three people’s were sitting on chautra inside ,starring or shocked by seeing human.their appearance was horrible.i softly took off my chappals and gone inside. when i came outside after having “darshan”, they were gone .
Now coming on point, This mandir has four temples. Hanuman ji, lord shiva and devi ji all are worshipped here. “Farsi” are placed at ground for people to walk easily..one mandir in which lord shiva and devi ji are sitting is the oldest where as others are newly constructed.
Two Old man sitting at “tiptarria”( a bench of rock and cement) talking about random topics.here, one who looks like pujari is sitting up and other one down.the pujari one has great tone of speaking and is telling interesting things.he has knowledge of whole town.
There are many trees inside mandir like bel,kaner,mango,jamun,peeple and kadam.
The view of lake is awesome from this temple.the green boundaries of the lake are classic.there are two ghats in the lake.longer one is adjacent to this where i am sitting.only one thing is critical , that is the toxicity of lake’s water.its polluted at very high level and has a green water instead of crystal clear water.
One uncle sitting here is telling about the benefits of “dama”[hot iron rod] for health. He says “everything can be cured by dama”.pujari uncle murmuring softly “tum jainso salaah daibe walo hoye to phirr ho gao kaam…”
This place is quite peaceful, containing positive and traditional vibe. a different spirituality can be experienced here.you can visit here anytime but nice view comes during evening.
