Sitaram , There are lots of place to visit near my town ,khurai. first,of all i should inform that you have picked right place to explore.
1) khurai lake This lake is at one end of khurai aside fort.you can enjoy breath taking views of lake through many ghats.
2) dohela mandir Dohela mandir is surrounded by lake and it is inside the fort.it’s speciality is that, when you enter for dohela mandir , you will get to see a big beautiful garden.you can see birds here and,also feed “aata” to fishes.
3.Aren
Aren is a historic site at the bank of river Bina. Its carries monuments and sculptures of sakya period of around 1400A.D. all sculptures are preserved very nicely.
4.nilkanth mandir
Temple is at the hill on bank of river bina running on bottom of hill, at gram barodia. It is very beautiful place wrapped with greenery. A huge Mela is organised here on the occasion of “sankranti”.you can enjoy tracking here.
5.Thakur baba
Thakur baba is a temple, it is 15km from khurai.its a beautiful site and on religious basis ,its place of worship for huge population.
6.Sidh baba Mandir and waterfall.
Its a seasonal waterfall near thakur baba mandir, about 2km from temple. Water falls from the kund from the height of 40ft.
7.khimlasa Fort
Khimlasa fort is very huge and is preserved very well.khimlasa is about 15km from khurai.
